The Upper Saucon Township Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants between the hours of 5:00 AM and 2:30 PM beginning May 13, 2023, and continuing to May 24, 2023. Flushing may cause some discoloration of water. This does not represent a health hazard. If you do experience discoloration in your, please don’t be alarmed, your water will clear up once it is run for a short time. Should you experience discolored water, we suggest you run the cold water from the faucet nearest to the water meter to flush your house line. The flushing program is necessary to maintain a good water supply for both firefighting and domestic consumption.
