Notice is hereby given that a public meeting of the Zoning Hearing Board of Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, is scheduled at the Municipal Building located at 5500 Camp Meeting Road, Center Valley, PA on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. for the purpose of continuing the following appeals:

APPEAL NO. 2010-06 - David M. Gubitosi (Applicant, Property Owner), PO Box 245, Coopersburg, PA 18036. The property identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 64237823811 1, also known as 4259 E. Landis Street, Coopersburg, PA 18036, is approximately 4.51 acres in size and is located in the R-2 Zone. The applicant seeks Special Exception approval to change an existing non-conforming use to another non-conforming use as permitted in Section 704.

APPEAL NO. 2010-07 - Edwin J. & Marilyn Heller (Applicants, Property Owners), PO Box 153, Limeport, PA 18060. The property identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 641325420945 1, also known as 6350 Blue Church Road, Coopersburg, PA 18036, is approximately 3.61 acres in size and is located in the R-1 Zone. The applicant seeks a variance from Section 211.I and the definition of "Structure, Accessory" to expand an existing 384 square foot accessory structure to 1,125 square feet and provide a rear yard setback of 35' where 50' is required.

APPEAL NO. 2010-08 - Douglas C. Schoenberger (Applicant, Property Owner), 4257 Limeport Pike, Coopersburg, PA 18036. The property identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 641512519540 1, also known as 4257 Limeport Pike, Coopersburg, PA 18036 is approximately 4.30 acres in size and is located in the R-2 Zone. The applicant seeks a variance from Section 212.H and the definition of "Structure, Accessory" to permit construction of a 1,506 square foot accessory structure which exceeds 20' of height and which proposes a side yard setback of 16' where 25' is required and a rear yard setback of 30' where 50' is required.

APPEAL NO. 2010-09 - Matthew & Dawn Resch (Applicants, Property Owners), 4945 Springwood Court, Center Valley PA 18034. The property identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 641499563874 1, also known as 4945 Springwood Court, Center Valley, PA 18034, is approximately .49 acres in size and is located in the R-2 Zone. The applicant seeks a variance from Section 212.H to construct a patio with a proposed front yard setback of 28' where 50' is required and a 40' rear yard setback where 50' is required.

APPEAL NO. 2010-10 - Jason J. Richards (Applicant, Property Owner) 4019 Primrose Drive, Allentown, PA 18104. The property identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 641462728216 1, also known as 4955 Majestic Drive, Coopersburg, PA 18036, is approximately .62 acres in size and is located in the R-2 Zone. The applicant seeks a variance from Section 212.H to construct a single family dwelling with a proposed front yard setback of 33' where 50' is required and two (2) 23' side yard setbacks where 25' is required.

2010 COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULE

The following is the Upper Saucon Township Board of Supervisors Committee meeting schedule for 2010:

Planning & Zoning - Regular Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 10:00 a.m.

Administration & Finance - Regular Meetings will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

Emergency Services - Regular Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 9:00 a.m.

Public Works &Transportation - Regular Meetings will be held the second Monday of each month at 5:00 p.m.

Recreation & Culture - Regular Meetings will be held the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Open Space/Environmental Advisory Council Liaison - Regular Meetings will be held the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

Appointments Review - Will meet on an as-needed basis

All Committee meetings will be held in the Upper Saucon Township Municipal Building, 5500 Camp Meeting Road, Center Valley, PA. Meeting dates and times are subject to change. Changes to the above meeting schedule will be posted at the entrance to the Township Building. Please call 610-282-1171, ext. 3 for the most up-to-date Committee meeting information.
