EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
Upper Saucon Township has employed the use of an emergency notification system to keep residents informed of emergency situations that may arise within the Township. Notification scenarios include water, sewer, weather, and other public safety emergencies.
You do not need to be an Upper Saucon Township Water or Sewer customer to enroll - in fact, we encourage all residents to enroll. Create or update your profile here.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Zoning Hearing Board Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the regular public meeting of the Zoning Hearing Board (ZHB) of Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, is scheduled at the Municipal Building located at 5500 Camp Meeting Road, Center Valley, PA on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 7:00 PM for the purpose of hearing the following appeals:

APPEAL NO. 2015-09 - Alyssa Thatcher (Owner/Applicant), 4438 W. Hopewell Road, Center Valley, PA 18034. The property is identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 641457334015 1 and 4438 W. Hopewell Road, Center Valley, PA 18034, is .33 acres in size and is located in the Suburban Residential (R-2) Zone. The applicant is requesting a variance from Section 306.A to permit erection of a fence exceeding the maximum permitted fence height of three feet (3') within the front yard setback of a second front yard.

APPEAL NO. 2015-10 - Dury & Sandra Diehl (Owners/Applicants), 3545 Clarinbridge Way East, Center Valley, PA 18034. The property is identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 641545858310 1 and 3545 Clarinbridge Way E., Center Valley, PA 18034, is .33 acres in size and is located in the Suburban Residential (R-2) Zone. The applicant is requesting a variance from Section 212.H (as amended by Ordinance 141-A) to permit an existing deck to maintain a 12' side yard setback where a minimum setback of 15' is required.

APPEAL NO. 2015-11 - Lewis Shupe IV (Owner/Applicant), 6092 Robin Lane, Coopersburg, PA 18036. The property is identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 641491444381 1 and * Robin Lane, Coopersburg PA 18036, is 2.53 acres in size and is located in the Suburban Residential (R-2) Zone. The applicant is appealing a March 31, 2015 Zoning Enforcement Notice that a Fill/Construction Debris Storage use has been established on the lot which is not permitted in the R-2 Zone and is a violation of the Zoning Ordinance.

APPEAL NO. 2014-11 - Kay Landis Mill LLC (Applicant), 5930 Hamilton Boulevard, Wescoesville, PA 18106, Lehigh Presbytery (Owner), 710 N. Cedar Crest Boulevard, Allentown, PA 18104 and Landis Mill Holdings LP (owner), 1954 O'Brien's Court, Bethlehem, PA 18015. The properties are identified as Tax Map Parcel Nos. 642439499160 1 and 642449553213 1 and 5383 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015 and 5454 Landis Mill Road, Bethlehem, PA 18015, containing a combined 88.8 acres in size and are located in the Suburban Residential (R-2) Zone. The applicant is appealing the October 17, 2014 determination of the Zoning Officer that a proposed spray irrigation system including spray fields, violates Zoning Ordinance Sections 427.C and 427 .D , which do not permit stormwater management facilities, as defined in Section 113, to be located in required Common Open Space.

Concerts in the Park
Upper Saucon Township Park & Recreation Commission is pleased to announce the return of Concerts in the Park. The concerts will take place at 7:00 PM on at the pavilion in the Upper Saucon Township Community Park at the dates listed below:

This year, the Park & Recreation Commission is working with Listen Live Music to feature local musicians for the concerts. Listen Live promotes public awareness and appreciation of acoustic performers. Please see our flyer.

The Victim Notification Program allows eligible victims and witnesses to obtain reliable and timely information regarding a criminal alien's release from custody. RADON INFORMATION
Upper Saucon Township has been working with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to notify residents about the possibility of radon in area homes. The DEP has a number of publications for residents to refer to regarding this matter. They are available on the DEP's website, as well as in our front lobby. Additionally, more information can be obtained by calling 1-800-23-RADON.

Prescription BottlePrescription Drug Drop-Off Box
The Upper Saucon Township Police Department is proud to announce the installation of a permanent drop-off box for unused medications. The box is located in the lobby of the Police Dept., and is available for free, anonymous drop-offs Monday - Friday, from 8AM-12PM and 1PM-4PM.
